A statement from the show's promoters, Demolition Records has the following to say about the decision: "It’s with great regret that we have to advise you that TWISTED SISTER have had to pull out of this years DEMOLITION BALL. Scheduling difficulties to fly the band from their German show the previous night (Saturday), in time to perform at the DEMOLITION BALL have unfortunately proved impossible to resolve. We, and the band have tried every possible way to make this happen, but to no avail. The band will however be playing the NEWCASTLE METRO ARENA on November 13th as Special Guest to ALICE COOPER, so you won’t have to wait long to see this mighty band play Newcastle. After pondering a while on what to do, we feel the right move is to continue on with the show, so that is exactly what we will do!! We hope you all feel it’s still a great bill with bands like SEBASTIAN BACH, Y&T, ELECTRIC EEL SHOCK, MANTAS and TIGERTAILZ plus many more bands playing for your enjoyment.. However, if you feel the show isn’t for you, please just drop us a line and we’ll give you a full refund."
