As is often the case,
LA four-piece The Outline were founded by high school
friends Graham Fink and Austen Lee to "just pen a few
songs". When bassist Max St John and drummer Ryan Rabin
joined four years ago, The Outline took the fresh approach
of not relying on one person to write all the songs, instead
ensuring that any material they put out was a completely
collaborative effort.
Coming across like The
Hives' "Howling" Pete Almqvist fronting The Killers, The
Outline revel in making a chaotic and bristling racket on
"Sloppy Drunk", which veers about like you would expect a
song to if penned by four equally creative minds. It’s
available now as a digital download and precedes their new
album, due to drop on 26th May. Well worth checking out.
