Kick came to prominence with the release of their debit album 'Consider This' which was all Bon Jovi and Def Leppard. With the release of their third album 'New Horizon', the band has moved away from this style into a more modern rock area. The album is well written, played and produced but to my ears the band has lost that x-factor that was so obvious earlier in their career. Maybe this is a grower. Time will tell. Still a solid album and you won't be embarrassed to own it.
