"Time After Time" is the latest single from York based quintet Elliot Minor. There seems to be divided opinion on the validity of Alex Davies & the boys with some quarters lauding them as the next big thing whilst others dismiss them as a contrived entity. 

"Time After Time", and it's not a cover of the Cindy Lauper ballad in case you were wondering, is probably not going to change anyone's minds, on one hand you could be cynical and think that every note has been arranged and polished to provide the exacting requirement of a modern rock single or you could credit the guys with having the imagination and collective talent to fuse classically arranged strings to a standard rock song to produce a unique (well unique in the current climate anyway) and memorable single. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and go with the latter assessment.
