Desaster - 666, Satan's Soldiers Syndicate
Metal Blade
Rating - 10/10
Review John Consterdine
|
'Listening
to the first few tracks of Satan’s Soldier’s Syndicate you
get the impression that Desaster aren’t just any old black
metal band. They are in fact playing no nonsense black
metal, but with the speed and intensity of a thrash metal
band, so if Kerry King (Slayer) joined Dimmu Borgir you
could begin to imagine what Desaster sound like.
From the opening track, “Satan’s Soldiers Syndicate” right
through to “More Corpses For The Grave”, you can hear
Desaster constantly pushing the boundaries of black metal
and incorporating their own no nonsense attitude towards the
genre, into their music. If you like Black Metal this certainly should be in your collection, it is what black metal started out to achieve in the first place, reincarnated! |
