Bullet For My
Valentine - Hearts Burst Into Fire

“Hearts Burst Into Fire”
is the second single from Bullet For My Valentine’s
sophomore album “Scream Aim Fire”. Whereas the first single,
“Scream Aim Fire” itself, was heavier, faster and much more
technical, “Hearts Burst Into Fire” is a much more melodic,
chorus loaded ballad. Not that this is a bad thing, as the
guys have managed to pull it off flawlessly creating a radio
friendly single that still has that bite from Bridgend that
BFMV are now famous for.
The acoustic b-side is
actually really good, possibly better than the a-side, as
they have managed to pull off a unique rendition of their
new release but at the same time it doesn’t take anything
away from the original. Though it is miles better than the
rather poor acoustic rendition of "Forever
and Always” that accompanied the “Scream Aim Fire” single.
With bands like Lostprophets and Funeral For A Friend,
leaving behind their heavier roots and going for a more
commercial sound it may seem like BFMV are following suit,
however with their latest album being loaded with thrash-tastic
killing machines, you need not worry, Bullet are just aiming
to hit the big time and become the next big household name
of British metal!
